Back to the Street – August 2026

On 29 August 2026, our Back to the Street event brought Clifton Street shopkeepers, local organisations, volunteers and residents together in a joyful and energetic spectacle along Clifton Street, despite the wet Welsh weather!

This celebration of circus and community featured around 200 performers including circus artists, choirs, bands, walkabout acts, a Barracwda Parade, spontaneous drummers and more. NoFit State’s Youth Performance class and Adult Class students also got the chance to perform and enhance their skills, and the cast of NoFit State’s big top show CARNATION brought world class skills right into the heart of the community, all for free.

Our Square Mile Partnership organisations offered children’s activities, informational stalls, Library Services, gazebos, dance performances, large scale games, moustaches and more.

The event finished with aerialist suspended from a forklift in true NoFit State style!

“It was such a great event. One of the best things I have been a part of ever! So so good.”

“It was an amazing day and I was so happy to be a part of it all."

“Fantastic event, extremely well organised and was thoroughly enjoyed by all!”
