Golau Parc Light

NoFit State Community and the Square Mile Partnership are proud to present Golau Parc Light: A Festival of Fire & Light.

 

NoFit State Community and the Square Mile Partnership are proud to present Golau Parc Light: A Festival of Fire & Light. This free community event, for the people of Splott, Adamsdown and Tremorfa in East Cardiff, will take place in Helen/Brewery Park at 17:00 – 19:30 on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th February 2024. 
 
Taking place across two evenings, Helen/Brewery Park will be transformed into a paradise of light and filled with lots of free activities, as well as free hot chocolate and cake. At 18:30 there will be an amazing show featuring circus, music, and fire performances by talented local artists.

Walk with us!

If you live in Tremorfa or Splott you can walk to the park with us! We will be setting off at 16:30 from STAR Hub, Muirton Rd, CF24 2SJ and heading under Splott Bridge and up Splott Road towards Helen/Brewery Park. You are more than welcome to join us, if you’d like, to please bring a light or lantern with you (no candles or open fires please!).
 
We will also walk back together to STAR Hub via the same route after the show is finished, leaving the park at approximately 19:30.

February Half Term Activities

12 – 17 February (2024)

 

This half term we worked in partnership with local organisations to deliver a series of half term activities for our local community! You can choose from a range of activities including circus, dance, science, arts and crafts and a weekend festival to keep you and your family busy over the half term holidays!
