We need event volunteers for Saturday 29 August in East Cardiff!
This year we are going back to Clifton Street for fun filled day of music, circus, stalls, play and more.

This year we are going back to Clifton Street for fun filled day of music, circus, stalls, play and more.
The event will run from 12pm - 4pm and have parades at 12pm and 3pm. There will be stewarding of road closures involved, but you will be rotated round different areas, so you get a flavour of everything!
Clifton Street 2026 – Back to the Street is a community arts event to celebrate the communities of Splott, Adamsdown, Tremorfa, refugees and asylum seekers and people living in supported housing. Through The United Shawl project, local groups providing activities and choirs and bands, we will create an amazing day for families in the local area.
As a volunteer you can:
- Help with set up and pack down on site for the event
- Get involved in supporting arts and craft activities
- Support management of crowds and stage management for performances
- Steward our parade down Clifton Street
- Support the youth activities space
By volunteering you get to be part of an incredible community event and get hands on experience within the creative arts.
Volunteers work in teams and do shifts on the day. If you need any support to take part, then let us know.
