NoFit State is seeking an enthusiastic and talented drummer to join our Big Top Touring company.
Our Big Top shows touring all over the UK and EU each year, performing to over 50,000 people per year. It is a full length 2-hour performance which requires our performers to have the stamina and consistent energy to sustain this up to 7 times a week.
We are looking for a strong, dynamic performer to join the new company for the 2026 tour with a view to potentially continuing for the 3-year life cycle of the show
In 2026 we are creating and touring a brand-new production, and this role will be coming in right from the start and working with the rest of the band and the musical director to create the music for this show.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- Exceptional kit drumming/percussion skills, additional instruments are also a plus
- Strong stage presence and confidence on stage
- A willingness to improvise and develop skills in a new performance vocabulary.
- Someone able and willing to muck in and take an equal role in all jobs related to touring and all the challenges that come with that. It’s hard work, but it’s brilliant work.
Preferably (but not essential) you would be Welsh or UK-based and we are particular keen to receive applications form people form ethnically diverse backgrounds.
