'The Circus Village' at Avignon Le OFF 2018

We're thrilled to finally launch The Circus Village, our most ambitious project to date.

We're thrilled to finally launch The Circus Village, our most ambitious project to date.

In just a few weeks time (6 - 29 July 2018), five companies from Wales, Northern Ireland and England will present five mesmerising circus shows at the îlot Chapiteaux (île de la Barthelasse) as part of the internationally renowned Festival Off d'Avignon 2018

And what a feast of circus the audiences at Avignon are in for.

As well as presenting our new show, LEXICON, we're proud to feature alongside four other British circus companies, nearly every day of July... That's right, the lucky revellers at Avignon will be able to catch all five shows in our two, beautifully air conditioned big tops on one of the coolest sites in the city, all in one day.

There'll be a bar and food, as well as music and general good vibes from 1pm - 1am each day - a refreshing escape from the heat and crowds in town. Oh, and did we mention you can also catch a free river taxi across the Rhone?

The show days kick off with the mischievous gang at Tumble Circus, presenting their energetic show, Unsuitable at 3pm. This will be followed by the extroardinarily beautiful, KNOT by acrobatic duo Nikki & JD at 4pm. After a break at the bar, you can then rattle through the ultra-cool Tipping Point by Ockham's Razor at 6pm, before revelling in the joy of the Firenza Guidi-directed LEXICON and topping off the day with by partying with Pirates of the Carabina, who present their one-of-a-kind show, FLOWN at 10pm.

"A quintessentially British programme of performances offering the perfect treat – the poetry, rock-and-roll attitude and charm of the neighbours from the other side of the channel, in a shaded garden with tea and cake to boot."
