Circus in the Park

Family fun on Sunday afternoons all through the summer holidays in Brewery Park. Learn some cool circus skills (including juggling, hula hoops, tightwire, and acrobatics) and get ready to join us for the Clifton Street Festival. You do not need any previous experience.

Street Circus for 13-17 year olds

Try out something new, challenge yourself and learn some new skills with these street circus workshops combining circus skills and street arts, including an opportunity to have ago at some beat boxing and graffiti art.

Join our experienced circus teachers Laine, Francis and Kevin, and try out different circus skills including tightwire, hula hoop, trapeze, juggling, and much more! No previous experience needed. Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in.

Who is this for? 13-17 year olds

You do not need to book. Limited spaces available so arrive on time to get your space.

Join Flow and learn how to make beautiful sustainable crafted accessories inspired by the streets of Adamsdown ‘the gems, metals and solar system’.

Flow is an artist and maker who lives locally in Adamsdown and has collaborated in the past with Butetown Carnival.

Three days of circus fun and games for children aged 5-14 years. The day will start with circus skills and games (juggling, hula hoops, tightwire, aerial and more). After lunch, children will learn how to make decorated craft accessories for the Clifton Street Festival Parade.

Parade Percussion with Upbeat

This date has already passed: Thursday 25 August, 10am - 12pm

NoFit State Circus, Four Elms Road, CF24 1LE

Join Upbeat for a drumming and percussive session. You will learn festive rhythms to play as a group in the parade for the Clifton Street festival day. Upbeat will provide instruments for this session and for the parade on the day.

If you take part in this session, we would like you to join us for the parade on the 28^th August.
