1. Omidaze: Romeo & Juliet - Wales Millennium Centre

If you've never seen an Omidaze production, or if you're not that into Shakespeare - this is an introduction to something that might well blow your mind.

Blending one of the greatest love stories ever written with theatrical circus choreography by NoFit State family member Paul Evans and promenade-style performance (and audience that moves around the performance space), Omidaze's take on Shakespeare is both a political statement and a showcase of theatrical innovation.

It's had a great 4* review in The Stage, and a lovely interview with another NoFit State family member, Hannah O'Leary

Romeo & Juliet is at Wales MIllennium Centre until 14 May.

2. HOME - Circomedia, Bristol

Supporting the next generation of circus artists is a huge part of our mission at NoFit State, and we share this ambition with our severnside circus friends over at Circomedia

We're always excited whenever we hear about shows and events put on by their students and community, and we actively encourage all of our community members to check out the fantastic courses that they run there.

It's great to see so much circus activity being programmed - not just for ourselves, but for our own community of students too (and surely more circus can only be a good thing?). Many of our students aspire to further study and perform circus, and a great number of our community members have gone on to enrol at Circomedia and other circus schools after leaving NoFit State.

If you're one of those with big circus aspirations, we suggest that you check out HOME, a new show by Circomedia BTEC graduates, taking place at the schools's beautiful Portland Square venue in Bristol. A great chance to see what you can learn and achieve if you go on to study circus at a higher level.

HOME is at Circomedia from Thursday 18 - Saturday 20 May
